The optical digital input of the SiXPack 5.1+ can be synchronized to 32, 44.1 and 48kHz and automatically recognizes what's going on. The control panel readily gives you information about the digital inputs status, like pre emphasis and copy protection.

The digital output keeps connected to the outside world at 48kHz and lets you connect to DAT recorder, Minidisk recorder and other equipment. Pre emphasis and copy protection can also be set. Its flexibility becomes obvious when the included Software DVD-Player passes the AC3 stream (e.g. Dolby Digital) along to the digital output without any problems.

MIDI. DLS.

1 Kilo of voices - 1024, to be exact - are available for the MIDI conductor. 8MB and no single sample less await your arrangements. The support of DLS 1.0 makes it possible for you to replace the original sound set with your very own individual cast.

It's no secret that two uncoupled CD inputs (e.g. for burner and CD-ROM) with specially pre-set noise cancellation, headphone amplifier and wavetable connector are convenient extras which you soon won't need to do without. Peace and silence are guaranteed by a signal-to-noise ratio beyond -97dB and straight-as-an-arrow frequency paths, that can only be overcome by the equalizer.

With its easy-to-read and intuitive-to-use control panel, we are handing you the tool you need to configure the SiXPack 5.1 + to fit your needs. Once you have selected your settings, you can easily save them and load them again as needed.

With the included software you can get started now regardless of what your interests may be. The included Software DVD-Player lets you experience the cinema, Musicmatch Jukebox records, decodes and encodes MP3 files. Professional music editing can be achieved with the excellent Audio- & MIDI sequencer Logic Fun from Emagic.

A 24-month warranty, telephone and e-mail support and direct hardware exchange at TerraTec in the event of a product defect are, of course, included in the price.
